The OFFICAL cricket2002.tk Greatest player thread

After all the discussion on this recently, I've decided to do something about it.

Here's how it works.

I want you all to give your top 3 players of all time, making sure you spell their names correctly. (use cricinfo if you're not sure of the spelling)

Do it in this format

1: Best Player
2: 2nd Best Player
3: 3rd Best Player

Make sure you follow that format, and spell names correctly so that your votes count.

At 19.00 GMT on 15th February, nominations will close. At this point your best players will be allocated 3 points, the second best 2 points and the 3rd best 1 point. All points will be added up and the top players will be put in a poll, lasting till the 22nd of February.

The only posts allowed in this thread will be posts listing your top 3 players, any other posts will be deleted.

If this is a sucess, I'll do something similar for best batsman, best bowler, etc.

This Thread isn't really fair as most of the Indians will vote for Tendulkar, most of the Aussies will vote for Bradman etc. Some people will vote fair like yourself (Andrew) and Iniyan, but most people will vote for the player that playerd for the country they support

I don't think these polls can ever be 100% fair, but that's why I've chosen this method of deciding who will be in the poll.
