Well im pretty sure that alot of people on here are English ...

So Im heading over for Christmas and im going to do all the touristy things but i was wondering if any locals think theres any things that you HAVE too see, or places that you HAVE to go?

and also are there any places that young people go alot, like hang outs or anything??

plus any good shops, cafes etc?

thanks:D

Do you mean in England?
Im staying in Essex.

But im also going to Tokyo, Scotland, and around Europe.

but yeah, the majority of the time im overseas will be in England.

Not a lot to do in England... ;)

Nah just kidding. I was doing some assignment thing a few years back pretending I was going to England for the Ashes and I had to make an Itinerary and go and see places etc there are some good travel sites about London and stuff but it doesn't look like your going there unfortunately.

Drink tea, drink warm beer, make funny faces at the guards at Buckingham Palace. Thats pretty much it;)

HA. Your going to Essex. I feel so sorry for you. I lived in Kent which is the neighbouring county of Essex. Essex is the butt of all jokes in the south east. There is nothing there :p Your best going to London as it is pretty near.

When you come up to Scotland, we are due some snow around now, so you might get lucky. Your best if you stick to Edinburgh and Glasgow. Edinburgh has more entertainment, but Glasgow has better shops

Best thing to do in England is to buy a plane ticket to go elsewhere.

If you head to Liverpool buy an all black tracksuit, Low Alpine hat and in some areas took your socks into your trainers and then spend your evenings hanging out at bus stops terrorising people. Perhaps buy some cheap lager and drink yourself into a stupor in a park/cemetery.

Watch the rain through the windows. Make fun of Chavs/G-Stars. Come to the Bullring in Birmingham

You have to check out Westfield, if your rich that is:p It has to be the best in london, i WAs there when it opened. There are other things you can do in london such as visit museums or check out the London underground. If you like shopping go to westfield or any major street in london.

Oh and don't forget to look out for teens with knives:D
