Using runout & field editor

I have been using Sams.exe to fix the line-up while batting, and sam's runout.exe while bowling, but have just noticed when trying to edit my fields that using the latter stops my edited fields from working.

Is this a familiar problem? or could it be because when the game is launched from the runout.exe it is looking for the field setting files in a different place to when it is launched from the other exe?

I have heard rumours of a Sam's beta patch that does both, but after searching I can only find two links and they're both dead. Does it exist?

Yeah that was one of the ones I found. For some reason that download doesn't appear to be in the download centre. Was there something wrong with it?

If it does work, could someone who has it attach it to the thread for me?

Since its a beta version, thats why I think its not in the download centre. To download use the following link
