Video capture - generating highlights

Hi everyone,
I was wondering what softwares are used capturing game video. I was also wondering if we can generate a patch which will give us highlight
e.g all wickets fallen
or to be more imaginitive (and if you boast strong memory on your comps) the way particular batsman got out for the series. That will be fun. what ya think?

Thax for answering. I visited Q-cricket site but couldnt locate anything about softwares or captures you mentioned. I saw some small video capture that has been there. Please give more details or direct link where it has been discussed if possible. Are these software available free on internet? waiting...

I went through searching all forums for video capture. I understand from zim and amber and your comments that software can be used to capture video. But I dont find discussion on generating patch or how can we do that.
Give more info on that.

I am not either. I was just wondering and also planning to drag my wife to do some programming as she is comp engineer and also taking some graphics classes.
