Visual C++ Runtime Error

Can anyone please help? I'm getting the following message:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Assertion Failed!
Program:..SPORTS\EASPORTS Cricket 2005\Cricket 2005.exe
File: ../../../cmn/eaglutil/src/camera.cpp
Expression: d>0

It only happens if I play an advance down the pitch midwicket drive (stick right and button 3 for a right-hander) to a seamer and it goes for six. Trouble is, it doesn't seem to happen all the time, but when it does, it drops me back to desktop with the option to cancel, retry or ignore the above message (all of which drop back to desktop).
Anyone else had this? Can post specs if that's helpful, basically Athlon 3500, Radeon X800XL (AGP), Win XP home, direct X 9c
Thanks in advance - I'd be interested if anyone can duplicate the problem.

Do you have any patches installed. One of the AI patches was doing this at one point but I thought it was fixed.

I think I've only got the patch on the laptop - good idea though, I'll do a fresh install and see if that helps....

How odd, a fresh install has stopped the problem, also it doesn't six-hit the same shot now unless the six-hit buttton is pressed (it did before without) . Must have installed an AI patch and forgotten all about it...
Thanks for your help, much appreciated!
Tim
