After that, Gokulraj Kamaraj stuck to his defensive tactics and stayed around for some time. After their wickets, Essex managed to crawl back into the match, picking total of 5 wickets by the end of the day.
Jamie Porter has been the best bowler for Essex today. He took two wickets, and kept it tight from his end. However, Essex will need the last five wickets quickly going into the second day, if they want to keep their hopes of winning this match alive.
