sussex captain Chris Adams said

"I've played for 18 years with some of the greatest players in the world - none of them felt the need to disrespect people."

"Playing hard on the field is fine by me but to try to publicly humiliate young players in the opposition is disappointing. "

It is disappointing (if this did happen) that Warne felt the need to stoop to this, mind you, Chris Adams does not seem the kind of guy who would just make up stories.

but it also seems Warney was perfectly ok after couple of drinks :D
"Off the field he was outstanding and the first person to congratulate us and say what a great game it was"

Lol, nice spot. :D

Still, this has been a chronic problem especially with the Aussies. They seem to think that being a bully and a bad person is perfectly OK as long as it is done on the field in the name of "Mental Disintegration" or "Playing Hard". I don't buy it. Just exposes them as being people with bad manners.

I gotta say Sussex were county champions two seasons ago and Hampshire have only just been promoted. I think Chris Adam's should stop whinging and get on with the game.

So in other words you condone what happened and its Adam's fault and he shouldn't be so sensitive and complain.

So British of you :). "Stiff upper lip man, get on with it now!"
I think Adams was not whining at all, he just made a statement that he has lost respect for Warne because of what he did. Just the fact that Adams brought attention to Warne's sledging makes him a whiner? I dont think so. In telling Adams to get on with the game you ARE indirectly saying it doesnt matter what Warne did.

next time Warney should invite him for some drinks and later a visit to local strip club and everything will be fine.
I wonder how Aussies manage in the domestic games, it'll be fun to see Warne bad mouthing Ponting etc.
