The WCECP Fix 2 has been released. Make sure you install that too. Fixes bowling speed (definitely) and sound issues (maybe)


WCEXP UPDATE released !

I've done an update to the WCEXP that fixes the main issues and adds some of the things that you've been telling me about.

New additions:


- All the player faces for Holland
- Selected faces for Namibia
- James Anderson face
- Updates and fixes to the WC rosters


Bug Fixes:


- Fixed the bug where you lost all sound when playing with the minnow teams
- Fixed the bug where the roster for minnow teams
weren't showing properly for some people

well nope.
Still no commentry on all macthes.

It worked when I loaded a pre saved match I was playing, but when I went back and started a new world cup series.
no sound again.

THought you should know.

At least you were able to run the update. I downloaded it and ran the .exe after using the rar unpacker and it got 32% finished and gave me an error.

RUN-TIME ERROR '53'
File Not Found

I went back and deleted the download, downloaded it again and still got the same thing. No luck whatsoever.

Great work and your effort is certainly appreciated but I think I'll probably just go back and play the Canadian team full of Dutch players on silent mode for now!

File Not Found

Islandboy I dont think youextracted the files to your Cricket2002 directory . This error comes when the program cannot find the control.inf file which is used to check if its your Cricket2002 directory.

Extract and overwrite all files to your cricket 2002 folder and then run the desktop shortcut.

Getting sound okay for a Pakistan V Australia match.

Just started a new wc comp with australia V Zimbawie.
No sound once you get past Benauld saying who and where.
Maybe I better do another fresh install.

What I do about no sound is............
Play the first over of the game
Save the game.
Exit the game
Restart the game
Load the saved game and the sound works and will continue to work till next match where you do same over.
At least you get sound till somebody releases a fix for it.

ahh, now that makes some sense.

Why there would be sound for a saved game orginally like I describe above.
