Just wondering if anyone has seen any 'weird shots' whilst playing ICC. Playing ICC06 just now, James Hildreth hit a pull shot for 6 over mid-off. It wasn't an edge either.

Anyone else encountered some extraordinary shots whilst playing?

Yeah, the one where they expose their stumps and seem to throw the bat upwards, that either results in a play and miss, clean bowled, or an unsuccessful LBW shout.

Ball looks like it's a normal pitched delivery. The batsman jumps, does something weird with the bat and it's a caught behind.

Batsman pulls through mid wicket and aggers announces confidently "A text book front foot drive there"

I don't like it when the cutting between cameras pre-empts the umpires decision. It just feels wrong.

I've seen a shot that I think was Darren Maddy did when the game actually had a bug and he hit two sixes in a row on the legside. Since then I've only seen sixes down the ground, on the off side and even seen a few sweep shot sixes, but never again a legside six. T'is strange.

Yeah same here. They have upped the number of sixes in this version but I think it needs increasing slightly again - you see quite a lot of them in T20 in real life! Even on maximum aggression they try and hit fours, not sixes mostly.

Must admit that I have still not bought ICC08. I might have to wait till my Dad comes back from Afghan at the weekend but I'll try and pick it up this week so I could give my insight.

Maximum aggression can mean get as many runs as you can which is why they hit so many 1's and 2's. You'd think though that they hit the fours because of it being a bad ball but if they hit it somewhere where there are no fielders and no chance of being caught then you would of thought they would go for Six's a few more. Especially on the leg side, what with the majority of the fielders generally being on the offside.

Once I was on 1 bar of aggression, my tail ender was batting and he hit a 6 .
