New Zealand and Australia join up

Today the New Zealand parliament has passed legislation taking up the option in the Australian constitution which allowed New Zealand to become a state of Australia whenever it wanted by 63 votes to 61 in a conscience vote. This legislation will take effect immediatly and will mean that all national sporting teams will join up with the Australian national sides with immediate effect. The ICC are convening now to decide who will take New Zealand's place at the 2007 World Cup in the West Indies and on the test match circut.

ICC anounces New Zealand replacement

New Zealand's replacement in the test circut and the world cup will be Australaisa 1946-49. The decision has been made as a result of the recent scientific advance which allows clones of alive or dead people to be taken with the people cloned been created and in their mental and physical prime immediatly. The squad will be:

One things sure, the Austrailasians have secrued the ashes and the World Cup.

I think that you are right about the ashes however the Australasians of the mid to late 1940's (Who I will be playing as) should provide good competition for them in the unification test, the VB series and the world cup

P.S. I autoplayed a 5 day match on a dry pitch between Australasia and Australasia 1946-49 on a dry pitch in Sydney which Australasia 1946-49 won by 1 wicket after slipping from 158-0 to 226-9 chasing 232 due to 3 wicket bags from Lee and Bond, 2 wickets for Clarke and 1 wicket for McGrath.

I picked the combined squad on merit in my opinion and anyway looking at it from the point of view of NZ being the 7th state - only New South Wales has more players in the combined current Australasian squad.

I feel Bret Lee cud have been included for MacGill! Bond,McGrath and Lee....wow it shd have been the superb combination! :)

Any chance of Fleming and Vettori or BretLee? ( instead of Clarke and Macgill in next match though )
