which file to back up

hey guys ....i know that this might seem a abit stupid ......
but when u are using patches.....which gob file do u back up....so that if thre is a problem u have the original one

i maen is it the one in the cricket 2004 dir or the one in the cd in the install directory

i backed up the one in the cricket204 dir where i actually installed the game

but on another site forum i read that it has to be the one on the cd

i mean if u install a patch it should have no effect on the file in the cd

i would really appreciate it if u could help me ou

beats me...thats what im talkingabout ....how on earth can thy talk about baking up cd gob file.....thats why i asked the question over here.....as this is the most trustworthy forum

i dint ask it on a forum .....but read at one of the forums........somebody else had started the topic.........it was really confusing.......i cant remember which one it was.......any way dont goto that one any more........this is by far the best forum....where people actually take the time to help others out with their problems
