I installed BLIC on my PC ok with no problem. When I go to restart it it wont start and comes up with the following message:

"Internal error when accessing one of the application's libraries. Contact your Customer Support. Error code 8"

I've not contacted C/Support yet as I was wondering if anyone else had come across this problem.

Have you tried reinstalling BLIC? Perhaps one of the files didnt copy properly.

Yeah Ste, I reinstall the game every time i want to play it, I must have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled about 6 times now. I have emailed support now and am awaiting some sort of reply. I was just wandering if anyone else had encountered the same problem.

yes i did last week could not get it load
so swapped for ps2 version

I had exactly the same problem and got in contact with codemasters support, and for their part the responded very quickly and were very helpful. This is what they had to say:

"This error report indicates that there isn't enough memory to start the
game.

Can you try the following...

a) Click on the Windows Start button and select 'Run'. In the 'open' box
enter "msconfig" (without the speech marks).
b) In the general tab click on 'selective startup'
c) Now click on the startup tab (the last tab at the top of the msconfig
screen) and UNtick everything EXCEPT 'systray' and 'scanregistry' (if they
appear. If they do not, don't worry).
d) Now close msconfig, you will be prompted to re-start your PC. Select
'Restart'
e) When the PC has re-booted, you will see a box with System Configuration
Utility as its title. Tick the checkbox and then click on OK.
f) Now try the game again.

Let us know if this is successful.

More assistance on this procedure can be found here:

I found this worked (but you may have to do it again after a while).

Thanks for that mate - my game now seems to work by using the above method. :cheers
