Just thought Id sahre this with you. Was wondering if anyone else thinks the wicket conditions are much more realistic in C2005? I think they probably are. Im playing a world series on medium with england and my first match was against Australia. It was a wet pitch and I won the toss and chose to bowl first.

I managed to bowl Aus out for 78 within 20 odd overs. They were all clean bowled except a couple LBW, no catches. It was such a slow pitch and the batters didnt adjust at all, they mis timed everything. I got the 1st wicket with the first ball, a normal delivery from gough clean bowled gilchrist.

What does everyone else think? Are the CPU teams not batting intelligently enough?

BTW, I won with 79/5. It was definitley not a batters pitch :D

JUst surprised a bit as it wasnt really there in C2004, but suppose you're right, much improvement in C2005.

You definitely notice the difference in the slower and faster pitches. On a slow pitch I managed to bowl Canada out for 16 on a fast one they scored 150!!

Excellent news. On my tour of the sub continent im happy to bowl a test team out for under 300. A mixture of dry and dusty pitches arent the easiest to bowl on.
