this is a wierd problem.
what type of connection do u have?

generally, flushing cache helps out of these problems.
try closing messenger with save password unchecked, then restart and check it again.

Now it is working perfectly.. donno but sometimes it shows this, and when i got to www.hotmail.com to check my mail while the messenger is giving this problem, on hotmail.com it gives me when i sign in : We are having problems with verifying your id with the Hotmail Server, please try again later!...

yep it will do that sometimes, think how many hotmail accounts there are worldwide. I guess the servers can be pretty busy at times.

Windows Live? Messenger - talk to Yahoo! contacts

With Windows Live? Messenger, you can talk to your Yahoo! contacts. Forget needing multiple accounts to talk to all your friends?you?ll be able to see when they?re online and communicate with them from one place. Try sending and receiving messages while you appear to be offline. And if you really are offline, your contacts can still send you messages?you?ll get them next time you log in.

Download the latest version of Live Messenger which supports Yahoo contacts at http://g.msn.com/1csbeta/Mess80_EN

although MSN partnering wiith Yahoo sounds strange, it has happened.
Hence a yahoo user can talk with MSN one through Yahoo Talk, while same applies for Live messenger also.

Thats a shock seeing the two in partnership. Anyway good to see as it means you only need to stay on one of the messengers. Not much use to me as I only have 2 yahoo contacts.
