TEW 2005:
http://www.greydogsoftware.com which I've mentioned in this thread before. But I would very strongly recommend you to try EWR first, its free and will help ease you into the world of pro-wrestling simulations. Otherwise you'll feel very very lost in TEW. Anyways, EWR is more fun to play in some respects
These are wrestling simulator games. Basically you play as a "head booker" or promoter of a wrestling federation (or "promotion") and put on matches, angles and interviews on your TV shows (like RAW or smackdown) and PPVs (like Wrestlemania). You also develop storylines and feuds and give creative direction to the company by settings wrestler's characters and dispositions ("babyface" or good guy; "heel" or bad guy and "tweener" or neutral). You are in-charge of hiring and firing workers and staff such as writers, referees, production staff etc etc.
You are also in charge of finances, and have to decide on wage bills, termination costs, sign sponsors etc. etc. Really, the game is very deep but not confusing at all.
You can play as heads of different real life promotion, depending on the "data set" you use, and can easily edit almost everything with the excellent built in editor. You can find some fine data sets or real life current data at
