I used to play this over 5 years ago, particularly Yahoo Pool, which was the best game of its kind back quite a few years ago... but it still has a huge amount of people playing and the cards games are quite fun.
However, I've quickly established my strength..
Word Racer.
Basically in Word Racer, there is 4 rounds, each round progresses with more letters and bonus letters and you have to make words out of letters joining each other - sounds fairly standard.. but you have to race against up to 8 different people who are all quick at taking words..
I'm not a huge wordsmith.. but my fast typing enables me to get all the good words immediately and my fingers fly across the keyboard typing in random combinations and hoping they will be words.
It might sound kinda lame but it is pretty fun.. gets boring after a few rounds, but there's always heaps of other card games to play.. I always seem to get stuck with dud partners in Spades though and end up losing.
Anyway, it's a decent way to pass time if you have absolutely nothing to do.. I'll give someone a game of cards or Pool or anything really if they want.. my Yahoo gamer ID is xxxxblake..
Yea it might be a bit lame, but it's not the worst thing in the world anyway, and with such a big community and it all being free (unless you want to become a subscriber, where nobody ever uses the features) it's pretty decent value.
