Zimbabwe Academies League
All Zimbabwe Academies League squads have now been finalised, and can be viewed on the 2nd post of the thread here.
The first round of the Zimbabwe Academies league [ZAL] will run at the same time as Week 2 of the Zimbabwe Premier League [ZPL].
- There will also be matches during rounds three, five, seven and nine of the ZPL.
A maximum of one International player and all locals in your ZPL squad are able play in the ZAL, alongside players in your academy squad.
- However players selected to play in Zimbabwe Premier League matches (during Week 2, Week 3, Week 5, Week 7 & Week 9) will not be able to play in both matches, so be careful who you choose to play in ZAL matches.
After Week 5 of the Zimbabwe Premier League managers will be able to swap players from your academy squad, with local players in your ZPL squad.
- This is the only way to play academy players in the ZPL, any other time they are only able to play in the ZAL.
- Likewise players that were swapped for academy players will only be able to play ZAL matches for the rest of the season.
There will be no finals matches this season for ZAL, the overall winner will the team that finishes first, after all matches are complete.
@Akshay. @Nitrogen & @SixerBoy11 you are all new to the ZPL this season, so please let me know if you have any questions about the Zimbabwe Academies League.

We can always swap the Premier players right but on the
this occasions, if chosen they will only be available to Academy?

Yes, during rounds when there are no academy matches, all players are available again. I will fix those sentences.

Our batsmen did a great job. Great to see that our batsmen played aggressive innings where needed. Especially Eskinazi, AB de Villiers, Musakanda but most importantly Grandhomme who sticks through the end. Our bowling was not that much impressive and it needs to improve in the upcoming matches.

If we had bowled a bit better to de Grandhomme, we would've won it. Amla was fantastic.
