What a nail-biting match! Perfect contest.
Bowlers did a really good job restricting them to a decent total. Dilshan and Root's partnership was ruining it for us and it'd have been a very good total if they wouldn't have left the crease, all thanks to Mutombodzi and Vitori. And then their batting order collapsed.
Our top order failed miserably be it Clarke, Sanga or Raina. Their bowlers dominated us clearly and looked like it was all over for us, 63-5. That is when Kallis came on crease along with our local star Chigumbura who just nailed it with a brilliant and much needed 131 runs partnership in just 125 balls. Kallis left us at 194-6 but Chigumbura was still there ensuring we win the match and in the end our tail got us through.

I'm going to do the obvious thing, and step down as Manicaland Bulls manager after a very disappointing problem. It's pretty clear that the biggest problem was my lack of commitment, and because there's very little I can do about it, I think it's best that I step down.

I plan to put this on hold for a while after the Grand Final, and run my African Pro40 Championship for as long as possible during my busier months. But when the ZPL is running again, you are more than welcome to join again at any time.

Thank you for being involved in the league, It was great to have someone with your level of cricket knowledge involved with the league.
