Sikandar Raza - Mountaineers

Raza scored 542 runs at an average of 60, after eleven matches. He also took 10 wickets, which meant that he was the third highest wicket taker for the Mountaineers. He did what he regularly does in the Zimbabwe International team; contribute with both bat and ball.

Chamu Chibhabha also needs to be congratulated for his season with the Tuskers. He scored 679 runs at an average of 56. He scored two centuries, his highest score was 137. It was very difficult to decide between the two of them.

Andy Flower Medal Winner: (Best Manager)

Saroj padhy - Mashonaland Eagles

Saroj padhy strengthened a struggling club before the start of the season, and backed the players in his team; which was rewarded with the Eagles winning seven games. Not being involved in three finals in a row, may have been the reason behind them being knocked out.

Grant Flower Medal Winner: (Best Overseas Player)

Misbah-ul-Haq - Mountaineers

A strong presence in the middle order for the Mountaineers, Misbah-ul-Haq was brilliant at building partnerships during the season. His effort in the Elimination Final showed how determined he was, but it wasn't meant to happen for the Mountaineers.

Luke Jongwe Medal Winner: (Best Rookie)

Kundai Matigimu - Triangle Tigers

Although he only played three matches for the Tigers, his future appears to be very bright for the young allrounder.

A fantastic end to this league for us. We dominated every bit of this league. Pretty happy to win the league. We were knocked out of the tournament in the finals earlier but not this time.
We batted slightly carelessly this time around and a collapse in the end. Rahman had been in prime form and supported by Starc and other spinners which led us to this. Another reason, our openers were brilliant in this season.

In a press conference Tuskers' manager didn't look happy with awards, he said " Chibhabha deserved the best local player. Making 679 runs with an average of 56 and that too as an opener is not an easy task. He also said that he isn't happy with manager award being given to Saroj. He said, he won this tournament and that should be enough ".

Manager said not me.
