One way is download a small linux distro, backup important data, format windows partition and install windows on it again

what is linux distro

it is a distribution of linux operating system it is a fully fledged competitor of windows and can boot off a cd so you can use it manage partitions and formating.if you like it you can install it instead of windows also
if you want to just repair your windows install parted magic is a specialist for that or if you want to use it completely then Ubuntu, fedora or opensuse are good.

Possibly put the Windows 7 install disk in and try and repair your system using it?

I tried with Windows 7 DVD but same thing happens there goes up to starting Windows and then PC shuts off there. One thing I forgot to mention that is when I go into BIOS and change something there like Boot Device priority from there and and Save the Changes the system freezes and shuts off after 2 mins. I m starting to doubt something major has happened to my system :( :noway

Did you change the boot order in the bios so that the cd boots first? Or is that too obvious? :p

By default it is like that and even if you don't change things and just save changes it freezes and system shuts off

So basically you can't do anything? You can't change bios settings, and can't boot from cd. It could possibly be just the Windows 7 cd you can't boot from, so maybe using a live disk like ubuntu could work and you could back up stuff, but I wouldn't hold my breath for it working. Either way I'm not sure how you'd be able to get back into your system.

Did you install his HDD inside your computer or do you mean an external HDD?

He has an internal SATA all the problems started after I connected his HDD

Ubuntu is a fully fledged system you wouldn't need that unless you need to install it (it is around 693 mb) as i said download Parted Magic(search google) or trinity rescue kit and run it off a disk.
Also where are you accessing pc now?
