I really want to see Pujara play!Pujara-Rayudu will be something very close to Dravid-Tendulkar effect i feel.

PS:I dont intend to compare Pujara with Dravid,Rayudu with Tendulkar.It was just a way to represent my abstract feeling.

If Pujara doesn't play I am going to flip. How can you have such a talented player, that too already a superstar at the international level, warming benches?!

Can't wait to see him ton up whenever his ODI debut is. Personally I think he should replace Rohit and open but we all know thats not going to happen.

I don't know why people are getting annoyed with Kohli's decision. The plan is simple, win the series and than give chance to the reserve players. The most important thing is to win the series first and Kohli is doing exactly that by sticking to winning combination. As we wrap up the series today, I am pretty sure reserve players will get their chance in the next 2 matches. Mishra has again proved, why he is so tricky to handle in limited overs with his variations. His googly is very hard to read for the batsmen.

Whom did you mean Jaddu or Raina ? According to me both of them should be rested if India is trying to get their youngsters fit and experienced in international level.Also both of them haven't been at their best in this series.

Total nonsense. A so-called aggressive captain inspite of winning two games comprehensively against a 10th ranked team, continues to go with the winning combination inspite of the whole world knowing that Zimbabwe is a dead meat waiting under the knife to be slaughtered. Could have easily played two new people atleast. And continues coming up the order in order to accumulate more runs for himself when he is a very well settled batsman in the Indian team right now.

A captain must look to build a team, and should not just look to win a series and boost his captaincy CV. Well Kohli is the only suitable contender in line after Dhoni, but I am disappointed with this decision of his.

Though I agree on the other point though but only for Suresh Raina, who's been out of form for quite some time now, should have been batting at least at 4, but again, you also have to adjust with the new player Rayudu, who himself needs more of a match practice. So it is a problem either way, Raina needs to find his form back, at the same time, you need to give Rayudu more exposure at this level

Atleast Kohli could have come down the order and let other players bat above and get good practice. He has already scored a ton in the first game.

If some of you can remember the last time we played a tri-series in Zimbabwe, we did not even make it to the finals because we "tried" some of the new players. Our first aim should be to win the series weather we are playing Australia, England or Zimbabwe. As I have said before, now that we have won the series we can give chance to other players because even if we lose a match, there is no fear of losing the series anymore.

If you don't use this opportunity against Zimbabwe, where else will you use the opportunity to blood fresh young players? The likes of Rohit, Raina, Jadeja, etc have been playing for long now. They can be easily rested and the likes of Pujara, Rahane, Rasool, etc could be played. And these guys are no way inferior to the above mentioned players. You can easily rest them and bring these guys and still win the series as comfortably (in fact, probably even more comfortably).

I still maintain, we are building a team for the 2015 WC and we need to build as big a pool as possible and then handpick the best players for the main event.

In fact, Fletcher has been a little too laidback (to the extent of being labelled "lazy"). If it was Greg Chappell, I would have agreed with you, but not with Fletcher or even Gary Kirsten.

Again, the captain under him right now is Kohli, and whatever I've seen thus far of him as a captain, I'm not really impressed. And not really convincing for me that he has a final say in the XI. That is my opinion. Had it been Dhoni, we wouldn't be arguing then

Moving on... No point if Pujara, Rasool and Sharma don't play in the next two games.

Had Rohit been in great form, someone like Pujara or Rahane could have been tried in his spot but now that Rohit is struggling, I doubt he will be warming the benches for the next two matches at Bulawayo as the management would love to see Rohit gaining some form before the big RSA tour. We might see Pujara and Mohit in the coming two games but not sure about Rasool and Rahane. Raina is one man who should be dropped in the remaining matches. Yes, he scored a quickfire 20 odd yesterday but he hasn't done anything good for long now (avg. 18 in last 10 matches before yesterday's match). Lets see if the bench warmers get chances or Virat once gives the nod to the same old Raina, Jadeja and Vinay Kumar. I don't know what is Vinay doing the team? He should have been dropped after 1st ODI itself.

I find it funny how India sent a bunch of 2nd string players to get some one day international exposure and what India is doing is playing with non-regular opener averaging around 30 and another one who has hit just 1 century. At the same time they are making guys like Pujara (List average of almost 57) and their backup specialist openers. What is this shout about showing the door to Vinay Kumar for no good a bowler than Mohit Sharma? Tell me how many List A wicket the lad has to his name? Oh wait! He has had a good IPL season.

I thought the same way there. But when I checked out his stats in the FC, they are impressive indeed. And R Vinay Kumar doesn't really look like a big thing in International cricket, and same goes for Unadkat. Make them play in Australia and South Africa, they'll be all over the park.
