I'm also letting you know your current skill points so you can improve them by being active in this thread (at the same time not spamming) and doing well at our USPC domestic level. Performances for the USPC national team against quality opposition will obviously go a long way in improving your numbers. For now, the USPC players will have average skill points in the 40s and 50s because they're still amateurs with no exposure to higher level cricket unlike the overseas recruits Kelby Rogerson, VC Andrews and Maheer Aamir.

Everyone has been given form and fitness points too. A player's fitness points depends on his workload and how many matches he has played without rest. Something like 10 matches in a row is clearly pushing it for fast bowlers/all-rounders, while batsmen, keepers and spinners may endure up to 15/20 depending on how injury prone they are. The injury proneness of a player is completely random, although I can say fast bowlers who bowl at over 140ks are more likely to get injured than other kinds of players.

Players with fitness points below 60 cannot bowl and risk a lengthy injury break if they do so. They can still bat with a short rating drop as long as they are above 50 fitness points. Any lower and they're out injured. Simple as that. The form points will fluctuate after each match/round depending on the players performances with bat/ball/gloves.

I think that's all I can explain for now. Hopefully, one of @The Author or @shoaibakhtar will put up a more detailed explanation in this thread when they find the time.

First time in one of these leagues and it's looking much more enjoyable than other styles :D. Didn't realise so much effort was put into attributes and stuff.

Anyone feel like joining me at St Pancras?

Hong Kong Sixes squad announced

The USPC squad for the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes is time to be announced. As promised, it is the first ten players who signed up, so if you've missed out, it's for that reason and that reason only. @Mr Nokkaya will be the skipper for this tournament, as he was the first player to sign up. The appointment of a full-time USPC captain will be made after the domestic season.

:bat: Stuart Clarke @SixerBoy11
:bat: Patrick Ronald @Sami Kumar

:ar: Aman Kumar @themusketeer

:wkb: Joe Messi @joejoe018

:ar: Dougie Grafton @Yonga
:ar: Earagav Jike @EARAgAV
:ar: KB Pandey @Mr Nokkaya (Captain)
:ar: Sam Parkinson @SamP

:bwl: Nandu Chaleckal @greymatter776
:bwl: Marco Sulevani @Sulaiman7

To all those who missed out on the squad, don't despair. It won't be long until we're into the domestic season!

Just curious, in this type of league does the appointed captain chose the team each match then :)? Just getting used to the concept.

I think it will be, but most of the time, there will be four domestic captains as opposed to just the one.

Also, the national team captain will likely be the most active person in the thread, so that could theoretically be anyone.

The idea is that you really feel a part of your domestic team, as well as the USPC!

Sounds cool to me. Just hope we get a few more people over at St Pancras :D.
