Don Bradman Cricket 17 General Discussion

100% agree with you @cricket_online regarding the career stats in Career Mode. I don't like to be a negative nancy about DBC17, but this is one aspect that already has me returned to DBC14's career mode. I'm devoted to accumulating and progressing my players career stats. I just recently...

Don Bradman Cricket 17 - Suggestions

Ok yup I'm going to add to the chorus. We definitely need a easier more accessible way to view my Saved Career player's accumulated career stats per category (Club, FC, OD, T20, Test, ODI, T20I,etc). Really missing this feature from DBC14 career mode. Two things I really enjoyed keeping an eye...

Don Bradman Cricket 17 - Suggestions

Firstly, huge thanks BA for bringing us DBC17! May the updates, and then the sequels, continue! After sitting down and playing for a bit (on PS4), here were couple things that mattered to me that I'd thought I'd note down in case they are worth considering. I am pretty much exclusively a Career...

Don Bradman Cricket 17 General Discussion

You might be right, perhaps anything in the directly backwards 90 degree arc on the r-stick while using defensive shot (RT) is way to go. Only thing I don't like about that is the unnatural feel of having to pull backwards on the stick. When I think about playing a leave in a real match I'm...

Don Bradman Cricket 17 General Discussion

Just another idea/suggestion for the 'Leave' shot control. Since right index finger is typically always already resting on the Defensive Shot trigger (RT) on the controller when batting, maybe map the 'Leave' to a Double-tap of RT. This for me is way more accessible than bringing the right thumb...

YOUR VOICE – IN THE GAME!! [Entries Closed]

@MattW Will you guys be doing something similar with Player calls (Running between wickets, Appeals, etc) as well, to get more voice variations/accents/languages?

YOUR VOICE – IN THE GAME!! [Entries Closed]

I gave it a shot for the heck of it. Here is a stab at North American, Ireland and Caribbean/Windies accents. Here goes, zip attached for each. The key is to try and adlib a bit I find, and not just 'read' the line. Though it can be difficult to not sound too wooden or too over-acted...

Cricket Revolution Demo Feedback and Discussion Thread

Yep it did, I think you had to hold the lofted shot and advance shot button, while aiming in the direction of a late cut, was fun whacking it over the fence on 1 or 2 star level for cheap thrills

PlanetCricket Ashes Cricket 2009 second Q&A

I too have the demo on my NTSC Xbox here in Canada. Though was interesting to see that the demo was only on Xbox Live for a week, before it was taken down in Nth America... Anyhow, with the Xbox firmware update in August, I wonder if Codemasters/Transmission Games will take advantage of the new...

    Big Beach Sports

Yes I recommend. Worth the small out lay for a fun little arcade beach cricket game for your Wii. Heck this is the only cricket game for Wii !!! And when you and your mates get bored off bashing 4s and 6s against each other, give Bocce a crack.

    Big Beach Sports

Picked up a copy yesterday, looks like its all automatic shot selection, but they do play back and front foot shots from what I can tell. And you don't really have control of the direction of the shot, except that depending on whether you try swing the wii remote through straight it might play...
