Carl Coe - English Gun Persistence was the key with Coe on two occassions in both forms of the game. selected the gun youngster aged 19 for the ODI Series in England, against the Indians. His form in the early youth FC games was awesome in the shorter version so, as I am always looking for...

Story Australian Cricket Team 2013 Ashes and Beyond [ICC:AE]

I was, yes 7 July 2013 England vs Australia; 1st Test; Lords (Day 2) Australia are in a commanding position to take the first test after what looked like an evenly balanced match. All it took was one day to change it all. Coming into the day 8 down, the Australians were quickly bowled out...

Story Australian Cricket Team 2013 Ashes and Beyond [ICC:AE]

19 June 2013 After an amazing past couple decades, the Australian Cricket side has slowly declined in its form in both forms of the game, despite still the number 1 Test nation and sitting 2nd in the ODI ratings. Former skipper and cricket legend Ricky Ponting has continued his...

    Super Batsman

Dan Cook; test debut 2011; AUS v WIN Tremendous start to his career...98 on debut followed by 69; unfortunate not to make the hundred. 2nd test made his maiden hundred, 132 dismissed for; and the 3rd and final test of the series, he became a legend making a remarkable 182 to help the side...

    Aussie Grounds disappear?!

I am certain that it is a venue order thing. In a 5-match series, the order is Gabba, WACA, Adelaide Oval, MCG, SCG. Considering in non 5-match series, we see 2 x 3-match series, instead of the likes of Gabba, Hobart, Adelaide Oval...then WACA, MCG, SCG, it will always be Gabba, WACA, Adelaide...

    Mikey's ICC 20005 Stats Guide

Yeah, as you can see from those statistics, Gagandeep was a regular during, what was a short season in 2010/11, including some impressive stats. Bowling average went from 37 to 22, taking 28 wickets in 5 matches. I realised he was doing well, but was a replacement in the early stages, and...

    Touring Squads

Sometimes it can be inconsistent, but i think it is only in the early years. Infact, I am pretty sure for Australia, when picking the VB Series squad, that squad tours South Africa aswell, despite not telling you! But that is only so far happened to me in the 2005/06 season.

Story Career Story - Mikey Robinson [ICC2005]

3 March 2011 We fly to Aukland, New Zealand and quickly prepare for the match against West Indies, who appear to be a strong team who are the most feared by us. We made a dismal effort with the bat to start off, being at 5-74 and in big trouble, myself out for 14 off 12 balls, but a strong...

Story Career Story - Mikey Robinson [ICC2005]

1 March 2011 We play Australia who have struggled. They are really out of form and aren't looking as relaxed as they were in the last series we played them. Once again, won the toss, and once again will bat first. We blasted them with the bat. Sehwag went out in the first over, which left me...

    GREAT county players

Smith looks a good prospect. Changed name, but this was a youth player from the 2005 contracts. I have just started the 2006 season with 1 county game. I managed an amzing triple century, i figured I may aswell go as far as i could, the draw didn't bother me.

Story Career Story - Mikey Robinson [ICC2005]

27 February 2011 A clear easy run into the super eights, we now face South Africa in what will be a test. Our form is up much more however, as South Africa didn't carry any points forward. We stay in Australia, back in Adelaide and have been sent into bat. It is a very similar pitch to last...
