Okay, slight change in plan - I'll be running the Americas NSC qualifiers before the Caribbean qualifiers as I originally planned to. I've finally managed to get past the CricketArchive paywall today, which means filling the lists for countries like Chile, Mexico, Peru etc won't be all that impossible a task as it would have been with only Cricinfo for help.

2019 Cricket World Cup qualification
Americas NSC​

The Americas NSC section (representing countries/territories located in North America, South America & Central America) of the 2019 Cricket World Cup qualification will act as qualifiers for the 2019 Cricket World Cup, set to be hosted by England & Wales. A total of 17 nations will participate in the process. The list of participating nations includes Guyana, one of the six major member nations of the here non existent West Indies cricket team; Colombia, El Salvador, Falkland Islands, Paraguay and Puerto Rico who are not currently under the list of active ICC members as of 28 May 2017. Ecuador, also a non-ICC member only narrowly missed the eventual cut of 17 teams.

The format for the Americas NSC qualifiers will be the single elimination or knockout format. A Preliminary Round will take place shortly before the main draw of the tournament involving 16 teams, to determine a qualifier from one of El Salvador and the Falkland Islands. The winners of the semi-finals of the competition and 3rd place playoff will gain the 3 available berths for the Americas NSC region to qualify for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. The tournament is set to be hosted by the United States of America, with the Leo Magnus Cricket Complex in Los Angeles, California; and Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill, Florida acting as the two venues.​

Sign-ups will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. To sign-up, simply post the name of an available team before anyone else does and that team shall be yours. It's that simple. To those who haven't signed up here before, those pretty looking orbs in your squad are used to denote the following:​

- Legend. Used for the players that are undoubtedly the best of the lot.
- Gold. Used for players with a high level of consistency and ability to deliver during key moments.
- Ruby. Used for players that are extremely talented and can play in a way no one else can replicate.
- Silver. Used for players that aren't as talented as their Gold/Ruby/Legend contemporaries, but still capable of holding their own against the best in business.
- Bronze. Used for players that are a level below Silver. They are more likely to put in good performances than players from the Sapphire/Crystal category.
- Sapphire/Crystal. Used for players that are inexperienced or with a lower skill set compared to those from a higher category. They could either put in good performances or fail miserably.

Additional note: Players with a (*) in the squad posts are eligible to play for more than one nation. They go to whoever selects them first.​
