Story Ashes 17 poor performance

Really odd situation.

DB14 & DB17 played to 120fps on the highest settings.

Ashes cricket however has serious issues. On some stadiums I get 120fps but I have frame rate drops etc.

I have tried riva tuner and locking the frame rate to 60fps but even though it stays at 60 I have noticed a lot of stuttering.

Is this a port issue?

I have tried boardless window at 1080p but still issues.

It’s really annoying as I really enjoy big ant cricket games.

My rig is
120hz laptop screen
Intel i7 7700hq .. 2.9hhz
8gb dedicated gtx 1070
16gb ram

V sync on locks the framerate on games. So if you have low FPS this is the first thing that you turn off.

After that lower the in game settings.

Being that it's a laptop, it's probably just stuck on integrated graphics. You should be able to force it into dedicated mode.
