I would really like to see India use VRV Singh either against Sri Lanka or in this series. He has proven himself a superb wicket taker in the Duleep Trophy and in the latter stages of the Ranji Trophy and showed by clocking 143.4kph in an IPL match, that he certainly has the pace to bowl in Indian conditions.

If you see closely you will find out that VRV has asthma problem. He cant bowl more than 5 overs on trot.

Gauti will also play important role I think. In bowling we need Chawla to get better as Bhajji is waste in Test matches.

I agree with all of that. Looking at Gambhir's FC average and his improvements in the last year or so, he HAS to partner Sehwag.

I wish they'd just play KKD ahead of Dhoni in Tests, too.

Anyways, I think Dravid is instrumental at number three so that he can anchor the innings.

If he doesn't come at no.3, this is probably the squad India will go with.

I really can't see sachin going anywhere but four - that's been his regular test match batting position for decades.

I'm expecting Hussey to really fire in this series - along with Symmonds.

10. ZK ( too valuable on indian pitches- 1st choice)
11. RP singh (add sree to provide us entertainment on dull days :P)

WTF ? VRV has had enough chances and he has failed to make the best use of these chances. Agaisnt Australia,well,you really dont wanna lose that series.Our current bowling lot is good. If an addition is to be made,it has to be Balaji.Even Gony has impressed me.

Definately,Wasim Jaffer needs to go.They have persisted with him too long.
KKD-well,I'd say, a tad unlucky,As of now,he is India's best-wicket-keeper.
Dhoni's hard-hitting secures him the spot though.

No. Kumble will still be holding his place. Thankfully he will retire after this series as he cant go on till 40.
