Averages

Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post in, but I was just wondering how do you guys deal with averages for domestic players? How do you come up with them for batsmen, bowlers, and all-rounders.

The ones currently used are:

Batsman 41/99
Keeper 38/99
Batting All-Rounder 35/35
Pure All-Rounder 30/30
Bowling All-Rounder 25/25
Bowler 20/20

First number is batting average, second is bowling.

We just "came up with it", no real scientific formula for it.

What if a player completely fails in his first game? Then doesn't his average shoot up to like 60?

Then what do you guys do?

We don't do anything...

We just let the games run their course with the same averages throughout the season....

They don't change.
