County Cricket | Week Seven

Michael Hogan was brilliant with the bowl in his first spell. Only 6 runs in 5 overs with a wicket!

Good start from Glamorgan with the bowl, but need to take wicket now, Tom Fell is playing well.

It will be interesting to see how Yasir Shah deliver's with the bowl for his team throughout this tournament. Since English conditions are more suitable to seamers.

I'm not so impressed with Dewi Penrhyn Jones, he was one of our proper bowlers and has been given only 3 overs, and has an economy of 6.33 after that.

Exactly what I was thinking, there is not much of spin, yet if Yasir Shah can at least put pressure and control the economy rate, I suppose that he had done a decent job.

@swacker you should tag the managers so they can watch the match live :)

We didn't win, but that was a good game nonetheless. I think we'll improve with time as I get a hold of a proper line-up. Yasir Shah didn't bowl as bad as everyone expected him to, I mean, I get that the English wickets aren't meant to turn, but if as swacker said, if He can be economic, he'll be just what we're looking for.

Since English conditions are more suitable to seamers.

Not necessarily, when the pitch is flat, spinners do come into play. :)

I'm not so impressed with Dewi Penrhyn Jones, he was one of our proper bowlers and has been given only 3 overs, and has an economy of 6.33 after that.

yea, I think it was due to the pressure of having a low total, he's young enough but should have given chance at early stage.

@swacker you should tag the managers so they can watch the match live :)

yea, got to tag when I post the match as well, keep forgetting. :)

We didn't win, but that was a good game nonetheless.

It was, and what I observed is that, if you attack at the beginning its easier to get settled, something to keep an eye on.
