Cricket 22 General Discussion thread (Use bug report thread for issues/bugs/crashes | Patch notes in first post)

Happy to hear Ross being so open about this build of the game, i'd guess the IGN plays build is a lot newer but obviously pre-Day 1 patch, it at least gives me hope that some of the identified issues in this "on disc" build can and will be fixed. But the optimism around my experience in the nets and seeing so many new animations in gameplay make me hopeful this can be the definitive cricketing experience on PC and console, especially once the academy is unlocked.

Having seen the videos of C22 gameplay I see that few of the camera related irritants remains.

- The camera continues to bounce with the ball in the field. BA should fix this to have the camera follow it in a straight line.

- When a straight six or four are hit a camera from a different angle should pick it up just when the ball is about to fall, just like in the TV broadcast. Otherwise that hanging and rotating camera on a straight shots tends to be annoying.

Unrelated to camera but BA should consider adding shadows to the boundary ropes to make them look more realistic.

In my opinion everything about that pic is superior

The shirts also look like shirts.. Warner’s arm shirt and that logo all seem to be the same thing.

I think another thing is look at the skin tone of both.. They look very washed out from what I’ve see .

Therefore it makes me a little dubious on the whole “Next Gen” overhaul

But if you look at that pic of Warner and the two from 19. I would purely in my opinion say the 19 ones were the next gen 22 ones.

Lighting is definitely improved and it's better than C19. Player physics is same in both games.

@WealeyH you are right 101% ,
C19 models / likeness details looks in the above posters look alike FIFA player model quality ...
C22 looks so odd like DBC17 DLC models :(
but liked stadiums/pitch to core .. also missed seeing Original player photographs when they out to bat ... android cricket game BBL has original photographs when player comes out to bat/bowl .

@sonimrajk how did u personally feel about player Likeness compared to C19 models / when they released posters that was wow! cool in 2019 .
that has not been carried forward in c22 sadly in my opinion .

seems some serious swelling in his arm, need to consult a Doctor of BAS :p

can any of you confirm whether Indian domestic teams went back to Ranji style or kept same old zonal structure like C19?
