Meanwhile, Great Britain will be facing the hosts United States in the second semi-final. After an embarrassing slip-up in their first match against the West Indies, the British recovered well enough to beat Ireland and Netherlands convincingly to top their group. The Americans started off similarly against a much superior Australian side, before recording impressive victories against Test nation South Africa and a deflated Mixed Team.
