Cricket Heroes - testing & feedback

I already brought up the injury idea up a while ago and you said you'd get to it so :p

----------

Also, have you thought about having injuries from bowling extremely long spells for bowlers or batsmen being hit in certain areas? And if you do, maybe extend that to the domestic seasons (I'd add like a full season feature for each country, being the FC and OD tournaments - considering T20 in most countries is a different competition really altogether). Anyway, yeah, then have match injuries extend to an actual injury that keeps them out for a certain period of time (depending on the severity of the injury) and then have training injuries maybe as well for injuries. I think this could be a good addition to the game. Obviously, not urgent but I'll probably forget about it soon enough so thought I would give my suggestion now. And then have an option to turn injuries on and off.

That's it btw

Haha, clearly I'm going senile :) Don't worry I'll add injuries to the next update (after the one being released this weekend).

EDIT: I might be able to incorporate a basic injury model before then, but it probably won't be complete.

Hi Kurtkz

I am facing problem while trying to start the game on my windows 8 pc

Please have a look at error log .

@umair: I'm not too sure what the problem might be since I don't own a Win8 machine. It sounds like your might need to update your graphics card drivers though. Failing that, it might be that OpenGL doesn't play nicely with the new Win8 interface. Is there a way for you to turn off the new UI temporarily to test it?

HI

sadly with the both versions..is that related to any .net framework issue :rolleyes

----------

Tomorrow i will run that game on my office PC with windows xp sp3.hope it works

Nah, it's an OpenGL driver issue :/ Unfortunately I don't have a Win8 machine to test on so I can't debug it. It should work on the XP machine, though.

Hi everyone,

just a quick update - I might not have an update by tomorrow. There'll definitely be one by Sunday though (barring any catastrophes).

Cheers
K

Development is going a little slower than I'd like, but I've made most of the changes I planned (barring the injury model). I'm still testing everything to make sure it all works, but I should be ready to release an update tomorrow night (it's Sat night here in SA now).

...In other news I think I've managed to sort out bat-pad situations. I'm testing (again) at the moment: off-spinner pitches short outside off stump, the ball turns in and the AI edges a backfoot cover drive on to the back pad and the ball rebounds to first slip who takes a sharp catch. Progress.
