Bayern pulled off a late couple of goals to draw 2-2 with Benfica. Anderson Talisca opened the scoring for Benfica latching on to a poor back pass. Enzo Perez doubled the lead after rounding Stephane Ruffier and tapping the ball home. Januzaj pulled one back, latching on to a Ribery through ball. Just 5 minutes later, Ribery equalised thanks to excellent hold up play by Robert Lewandowski.
MOTM: Franck Ribery: Played a huge part in both of his team's goals and gave the opposing full back a lot of trouble with his skilful dribbling and passing.

Atletico lost 4-1 to Bayer thanks to an awesome display from Wilfried Bony. Calhanoglu opened the scoring for Leverkusen with a stunning long range effort. Alex Song doubled the lead with a simple header from a Bale cross. Stefan Jovetic confirmed the victory with a sweet finish. Mandzukic pulled one back for Atletico with a header after he was left unmarked in the box. Bony restored the three goal lead for Bayer, converting Lampard's low cross.
MOTM: Wilfried Bony: Won the freekick and corner from which the first two goals were scored and scored the last one too.

Chelsea and Zenit played out a dull 0-0 dull with both goalkeepers shining. Chelsea almost conceded a comical own goal, but were unfortunate to not sure on the lightening counter that ensued. Malafeev made a spectacular save in the last minute off Suarez, thus saving a point for his team
MOTM: Thibaut Courtois: Was solid as well, claiming crosses and made an important save to prevent an own goal.

Adrian Ramos(Isco) '4, Ramos(Isco) '45, Santi Cazorla '83(Arjen Robben)
Porto triumphed comfortable against Arsenal thanks to an Adrian Ramos brace. Ramos opened the scoring with a lovely volley in the fourth minute. Ramos and Isco linked up once again, with Ramos heading Isco cross in. Santi Cazorla pulled one back for Arsenal with a thumping finish from range, but it proved to be nothing more than a consolation.
MOTM: Adrian Ramos: Was brought in by his manager, and fully repaid that faith with a brace.

Lionel Messi's goal was the difference between the two teams who were evenly matched. Messi scored the only goal of the match- a typical finish with his left foot. United then had a lot of attempts at goal, but they found a wall in the form of Diego Alves
MOTM: Diego Alves: Excellent performance from the Brazilian, denying the dangerous United strikers more than once.
