Why 3 keepers? KL back problems?

Dhruv probably to get some exposure. He did well in the A tour in Africa, reward him. KL will keep but in case Iyer keeps failing have Bharat in the side for him and KL as a batsman.

I don’t think KL will keep, there was a report running around that they’ll opt for a specialist keeper. Given that we dropped Pant in favour of an ageing Saha to keep at home after Pant’s heroics in England and Australia… I very much doubt it. Jurel’s selection may also be a point in favour of that as he comes in as the specialist backup.

I don't understand the squad dynamics here.
3 keepers are mentioned when clearly they don't want KLR to keep. The reports state that management is keen on a proper keeper and doesn't want to risk KLR's back further.

Furthermore, why would you select a 17 member squad for a home series??? Ideally you have your combinations fixed. Settle for 14, no? Call up any one if you. I'm sure charter helicopters and flights can be arranged should the need arise.

Just when I think it's safe to cancel TNT Sports they buy up the rights to show the England tour to India* AND the next five years of India home internationals :noway

*yes once again we only find out who is showing an India tour in the UK a week before

You pay to watch sports?

It sucks. Basically paying two subscriptions; for SKY and then additionally TNT. Viaplay (which was once free is now also a subscription service) also shows some cricket, although do not pay for that. Occasionally some random channel that usually just shows Indian soaps might have a series on. Although I think this TNT deal for Indian cricket will end that.

This is why I'd like the ICC to have a single service for all international cricket like WWE.

PCB streams home matches and PSL on YT in continental Europe :D
Yeah, YouTube can be good for watching some matches although TNT have scooped up home right to NZ and WI over the last few years and they were two of the more likely to show on YouTube. Lots of other countries have their domestic cricket on there too.

SKY do put all women's matches from The Hundred on YouTube as well as some men's. And pretty much every county match is available on there too (although for some reason Kent put their T20 behind a paywall - I guess there's big money in Joe Denly sixes).

It's all just crap though. I'd happily pay a monthly fee for ICCTV if I knew I could watch every international match.
