Following on from this, just wanted to gauge opinion on the balance of test sides a few years down the line. Do we think these line ups will ever be picked, and is it ruining test cricket, with more bits and pieces cricketers coming in, like the england side when then feasibly only have 2 out and out bowlers, although Woakes could also be considered a bowler worthy of a place on that suit alone). Or will these players become keys in pushing players to be more rounded

With Stokes finding form for England, come the english summer we could be playing 3 in Stokes,Ali and Woakes(debut was at 6, 8 FC tons and a higher First class average than stokes) at 6,8 and 9), with Rashid seemingly in the mix

Australia seemingly in a few years might have Marsh, Faulkner and Maxwell around the team, plus all the bowlers seem capable of batting

NZ could have Neesham,Anderson,Craig at 6,7,8 if Bmac/Latham takes the gloves(Guptill,Latham,KW,Taylor,BMAC)

Sri Lanka with Angelo,Not forgetting RSA getting JP to be a bowler and bat at 7, Shakib and the other Bangladeshi players, Jadeja and Binny for India, Holder for West Indies, who looks a great prospect, especially in tests, his bowling yesterday was disciplined , more than good enough for a 3rd/4th seamer.

I don't like the term bits and pieces cricketers to describe guys like Woakes and Ali or even JP. These are guys who are very effective in one suit and more than decent in another. Ali for example can be a very good batsman at times and is an effective, controlling off spin bowler who even did well against the Indians.
