The ICC has approved the PCB's request to add Abdul Razzaq to replace one of its two injured players in the ongoing ICC World Twenty20. This makes Razzaq the first former ICL player returning to international cricket after being banned.

Here is Razzaq's reaction. Can somebody tell if he is in Pakistan or already in England?

It's like another start - Razzaq

It'll be close, but I think Pakistan can get him to England (if hes not there already) before their super 8 game against Sri Lanka.

When that article was made up, he should have been already in the plane to England.

Pakistan's next match is on Friday 12 June 2009 at 12:30 GMT. He should reach the camp before it starts.

Another bad thing could happen is that he won't even play in the match, if he arrives in England tomorrow.

I think he's in Pakistan..they have to get some visa or something I read on another site.

He might not be selected in the playing eleven. Almost everybody, since hearing the news, is expecting he will play. But whoever is in charge might decide differently.

The late inclusions could turn this tournament on its head. Razzaq will improve both the batting and bowling for Pakistan. Him and Afridi will be deadly down the order as well.

if razzak turns up for pakistan,so will bond(or may be even vincent) for new zealand and since they happen to fall in the same group,it wont be a wise thing to do that.

I know Dinesh Karthik had some visa problems getting into England. I suppose Razzaq hasn't had any or we would have heard about it.

Getting Razzaq back definitely changes the equations a lot. Here's a bloke whose been playing a lot of T20 cricket of late and is a specialist death bowler. Definitely a lot better than Arafat who was getting tonked all over the place.

now this is an issue to consider as well.
may be we won't see bond but you never know.so lets keep our fingers crossed.

Lou Vincent, NO thank you.

I'm assuming Razzaq wasn't in Pakistan's 30 man squad they had to name? So that would clear up the issue of needing to pick a replacement from that prelim squad.
