Gayle blows away Dhoni from top spot

West Indies captain Chris Gayle has stormed his way back to the number one place in the Reliance Mobile ICC Player Rankings for ODI batsmen after a series of fine performances against New Zealand

The 29-year-old Jamaican has gained five places in the rankings to knock India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Australia's Michael Hussey down to second and third place respectively.

Gayle, what a guy! Deserving No.1 in ODIs. Unlike Dhoni who has pummelled the weaker teams like UAE, Hong Kong etc. Dhoni has a good average only because he has had lot of not outs.

Maybe you are correct, but give the man his dues, he is deserving of every thread and article that is open or written about him, it's his time to shine in ODIs with 19 centuries @ the age of 29, who knows how many more he can and will get.
