First match we'll go in with our strongest team, so probably,

Ryder
McCullum
Guptill
Taylor
Styris
Hopkins (+)
Vettori (c)
McCullum/Oram
Mills/Butler (2)
Southee
Bond (1)

They won't play Nicol against Zimbabwe unless we win our first game I presume. And I hope to god we don't play Butler...

This is the best group of all!!

All teams can upset their chances going to next round!!

If zimbabwe play the same way they did against westindies then...

Yes Bilal bhai!! They will not repeat few mistakes which caused them 1or 2 win this season in west indies

These three teams have arguably the best OD spinners in them and WI pitches tend to favour spin don't they?

I don't think spinners will make as much difference as everyone says, usually spinners get put to the hammer in international matches..

no i beleive in this t20 wc spinners will put up a great difference and i am getting this feeling that sri lankan spinners do so

The group of scoopers.

All the scoopers are in this group. Zims came up with the scoop and one of the best ambassadors of the scoopers are here. Just missing Ashraful and Misbah :D

What a boring group tbh. Sri Lanka 2-0, NZ 1-1, Zim 0-2

There, now we don't have to watch them until the 8's :p

Dilshan, McCullum. then we also got Mahela, Sang..meh..nvm ya..

and the scoops are out of form. so

Zimbabwe just lost to West Indies A by 5 wickets with 2 balls left. Spinners did most of the work but the 3 quick bowlers that WI played had allot of success.
And these matches are being played at Providence, spinners will own here.

Wouldn't count us out of beating Sri Lanka we did beat them 2-0 in Sri Lanka last year.
