How does this skill point gets credited. I wanted to check the skill points for bowling and bowled two overs completely with leg cutter but no skill points were awarded though both of them were maidens. The next over I bowled one in swing delivery and there was a pop up saying In swing +1.

I dont know the reason but my understanding is that the points are given to the ball which was effective and the batsman either got beaten or played in the air....

May be dude. I am still not sure. I remember the batsmen swung and missed a three to four balls in the two overs and hit one to mid on and that stupid fielder dropped that catch

Can anyone advice how to get wicket with Caught and Bowled. So far I have got only two C&B wickets but I don't know how I did that. The timeframe is very less to react and all the catches I get are getting dropped.

I used to drop them all the time, now what I do is immediately after releasing the ball, I move my right analog stick up, it usually works and I take 8/10 of the catches now. I do this every ball, whether there is a catch or not... just in case there is then it works.

Thanks Dude. But will this affect the AI fielders taking the catch. I tried the same this weekend. But the AI fielders dropped lot of catches when I did this. So I thought may be bcause of my intervention he is dropping the catches. Is this right ??. Are the AI fielders taking catches even when you move th right analog stick

Since you aren't controlling AI, you shouldn't see any difference there, atleast I don't, I do on occasion have AI dropping 6-7 catches in a row and then take some one handed magical catches right after, I think the dropping is pretty random

I think you should wait for patch#2 and then play maybe you will be able to score well then...As for your batting I would advice to play practice match for some time definitely improves ...Try playing the shots that you are finding difficult to execute....

I will note that I am playing on legend difficulty with this full time batsman. I would like to be able to compare first-year figures for anyone else playing legend difficulty with a batsman, if there are any out there.

You need to move the right analgue stick in the position that the ball is getting to you at. If the ball is hit low (where I find most of the shots that are aimed at my bowlers) then you need to move the RAS down, if the ball is at your head or higher move it up, or to the sides as required. I have gotten into the habit of just jamming it down after bowling the delivery and catch the majority of shots that are smashed at my feet.

What happens when your skill rating (ie. number on the helmet) goes up? And how do you do it? I pretty much play EVERYTHING on the front foot and yet half the time I only get increases for everything else - onside, offside, etc etc.
