ICC Records queries thread

I just posted several records in one match, is this permitted or is it one record per match only?

Also, a bit off topic, but what is VCash?

Yes, that is permitted. You can have as many records per match.

vCash is a virtual money feature. It is in your profile under your post count. You can use it in several ways. The Casino, vBookie, you can 'gift' it to people and some people use it in the PCPL.

sureshot could you just totally clear something up for me, the most wickets in a season records, is this just for english county games? so if some one has 100 FC wickets and 40 test wickets that year, then they only have 60 FC wickets in the season. i hope ive explained what i meant there lol
i ask because what if someone has an india domestic cricketer as there overseas player, then the 'this year' or 'last year' stats will have about 28 or so FC matches and therefore much more wickets

Well Test matches are classed as First Class games so they can be included in the FC most wickets in a season. However, the example you have given, of a player who is playing outside England, I wouldn't allow that as a record. Because 'you' haven't controlled those other matches. To keep a consistency with that, I would only allow a player with say 60 test wickets and 120 fc wickets, if you had control of both sides. Say, Durham and England if Harmison took 50 test wickets and 60 FC wickets. I hope that isn't too confusing. I had to think about that one!

yeah i understand what you mean, but think your being a bit unrealistic expecting harmison to get 50 test wickets in a year ;)

I've updated the records rules and informations section with that. Someone else had brought that up as well. Thanks, I hadn't thought of that situation.

Sureshot what about this one:
A player takes 100 wickets during regular FC season in England. However, they then take a further 50 during the winter tests. So would this total of 150count? Same for One-Day as well

Yes, I'd allow that. On one condition. You have to be in control of both England and whichever county that player is playing for. Obviously don't want people taking credit for the AIs work off-season!

hey sureshot, just A thought about the all round proformance system. You currently have one point per run scored, but I think you should add another 5 or 10 points for a not out score. Just a thought.

That is a thought. However, wouldn't that be a bit mis-leading if someone scored only 30*?

maybe you could add 10% of the person's score, which would make it more accurate.

That's a good thought. Reflects their not out score in completely fair way.

Any chance for some records for really bad performances? Not for vCash obviously but for fun. Just had an opposition bowler (Simon Cook of Kent) take 100 for 2 in 10 overs in an OD game :p

That is a record, Trev. Just as long as it's not your own bowler who is expensive! I'm not rewarding people for bad performances. Hitting an opposition bowled for 100 is a good effort. Though I just hit someone for 95 in 8 overs. Need to find if there is a record for it, or not...
