India A tour of Australia 2014

Expect to see a few changes to the Australia A squad because of Cameron Boyce and Michael Nesser leaving to start pre-season with Queensland and Moises Henriques is also obviously out injured. Steve O'Keefe looks very likely to replace Boyce as the spinner in the side. Jason Behrendhorff will probably came in for Nesser. Peter Forrest could come in to take over Henriques's spot in the batting order. Clint McKay will only be selected in the side if they decide someone like Chad Sayers could use a rest.

The weather forecast says it should rain for the first three days of this match so this last match might not get under way.

Looks like another solid showing by Sandhu and business as usual from SOK. Surely it's time to pick SOK for the Test squad.

Ye if O'keefe isn't picked it would be a sick joke. He may not be a world beater, but its still stinks that in the last few years of struggles (b4 the recent revival) that other average left arm spinners such as Doherty, Beer & Agar were picked in front of him.

But knowing the Australian selectors, they will go with Doherty or Beer :facepalm Hughes looks in great touch, but I am not very sure if Hughes and Warner will make a good opening partnership in test cricket. Both are very attacking batsmen and will get exposed by top-class bowlers. On another note, how was Ed Cowan in the past season? If he can convert his 50s into 100s, he will make a very good partner for Warner/Hughes.

*Shiver*

Once again Hughes dominating the level below, case of can he finally do it consistently at the top level. He's definitely been the best of the guys that has been dropped, average at 46 compared to Khawaja whose is almost below 40.

But doesn't Ussie have a better technique than Phil? I mean, he was pretty decent in the 2013 Ashes and unlike Hughes, does not slash at everything outside off. If he can concentrate more, he will end up being a better batsman than Phil. And with Lehmann at the helm, I can see him doing just that. But yeah, atm Phil has phenomenal stats for a player of his age and cannot be ignored. But once he comes to the top level, his technique gets exposed every single time.
