I can totally understand the frustration of Sanjiv Goenka after seeing the 'absolute humiliation' that LSG received yesterday and why he reacted that way with the captain (KLR). But he could have taken his frustrations to private enclosure where he would not be captured on camera with his animated expressions. It does matter because now Rahul will know that their conversation was captured on camera and has gone viral and is feeding the memes/trolls.

The analogy is wrong here. Company MDs can ot be compared to Team owners at all. Preity Zinta did something similar with Bangar a few years ago, not one batted and eyelid then. Just cause KLR is somewhat famous, doesn't give the right to the media to be in favour of him.

This is the first time I’m hearing of this and upon searching for it this was rumoured to have happened after the game in the locker room and both individuals involved have vehemently denied it. Hard to bat an eyelid when it’s unlikely to have happened in the first place given Sanjay’s back working there now in a much bigger role that puts him directly between the playing members, non playing staff and the board.

And even if it did happen, Zinta would have been in the wrong too. Goenka’s done something way worse comparatively (if at all what Zinta did was true), he took it out in public and against his team’s player and captain. Goenka owns the franchise as an entity, he most certainly doesn’t own Rahul the human being.
