Yusuf Pathan is only a player who won ipl with 2 teams first with rr and now with kkr. and both the time he won against csk in the final. feeling sorry for his brother irfan no trophies.

Don't bring up your own facts. Even Balaji has won the IPL twice, once with CSK and now with KKR.
In fact Balaji has won the CLT20 too which Yusuf hasn't.

KKR were the defending champions but what really happened so that the champions became a matter of humour... No it wasnt the auctions coz nothing serios was changed and it wasnt the conditions that changed only thig changed was Senanayke and maybe he was 1 factor of defeat...


The Failure of KKR in 2013-

Reasons-

Omission of B. Lee-

Brett Lee who broke stumps on 1st ball of IPL 13 was omitted due to spot of Senanayeke/R.ten Doeschate/McCullum who were under-performers this year... He was looking in superb form but Gambhir insisted on spinners which destroyed his pace attack and hence created a weak spot...

Inconsistent Gambhir-

the double G was looking great at the start but the his shine faded away and he started performing poorly.... Nobody knows why.... still was not a major factor as Yusuf Pathan was looking better and so was Morgan...
And he was really just focusing on stealthy spin attack but forgot that B.Lee is one of the best fast bowlers in world cricket..

If these factors are overlooked then only bad luck is the factor which isn't really
true

Please be realistic. He bowled well in one match. He is way past his prime and Gambhir did the right thing to drop him. The reason KKR failed is the same reason Pakistan fail. The batting flopped. The bowling was pretty good, and played well as a unit. Admittely, the only had half a seamer (Balaji is more a medium pacer now), but Brett Lee has lost his touch now.
