MCC Tour of USA , March 2010

ya dude, i am very lucky. real pitch, real cricket, bowling machines, all kinda facilities.

yours isnt that bad. your ground is even, and green. you should see some of the field we tour. :facepalm holes, dry, uneven.. and i dont know where to stop.

and looks like some 1 just got bounced. (3rd pic). lol what you complaining about?

and from seeing those pic, i feel like i was there. lol. because, its exactly same here. those cricket bags by the side, people from different places stilling all together massing around, whites.

Yea I love the cricket culture in the US, we have everyone on my team from religious Pakis to drunkard Aussies and West Indians. Its a great mix.

And that was a top edge from a mis timed pull to a short of a length delivery. To bowl a bouncer on these wickets it has to be 75 mph minimum or its getting smacked.

As in contradicting myself? Fair enough.

Isn't it Sheila?

Yea Broward is the pride of USA cricket, the only ICC approved venue in the entire country. Designed specifically for cricket and that is where (hopefully) the NZ vs SL Twenty20 series will occur.

they are planing on building stands on the other side sometime soon

Right now its 5000 Permanent capacity and they can make it 15000 with temporary seating. Hopefully they start the other stand soon though.

Great part about it is that Ft Laudedale is 30 minutes from Miami, so when these International players come, they can check out Miami, thank god its not in some bum fearsome tweak hillbilly area in the mid west.

America is the home of high performance stadiums. There aren't many here.

Sure not compared to American stadiums but AUS has some monsters.

My University's football stadium holds 100,000 people and thats only for college football.

MCC lost the 1st. Easy win for NWR. They said they sent a crap team

The MCC touring XI that is in the USA right now is a different lot of club level cricketers
