Malinga bowls well with Johnson in tandem maybe but McClenaghan is too good a player to keep out.Anyway its always good to see a lot of options available.

Maybe.But he was instrumental in some of MIs wins in the previous season. I think he would play the first few matches and based on his performance he would be replaced or sustained.

They just have to replace Buttler and Southee if they want to win. Very bad choice of oversea players in last match from them. Still a tough fight yesterday, they got unlucky. I think double Mitch would have worked. Johnson would have added more sharpness to the bowling dept. Buttler is merely a problem against spin. Whereas Simmons has been excellent against both pace and spin in T20s. At least for Mumbai Indians if not at International stage.

Pollard and Pandya were absolutely at their best by the way. Bumrah looked in control too. Anyway does anyone know why Harbhajan Singh didn't play yesterday?

Great display of lower order batting in the last match against KKR.A win looked less probable to me after the 15th over of our chase but Hardhik and Rana did a great job.Malinga was good with the ball as well.
