Need a Gaming Laptop - Budget INR 45K

I am a student who lives in hostel and have to satisfy my gaming needs also so I am desperately looking for gaming laptop among the above budget. I am keeping an eye on this Asus Laptop Asus K55VM-SX086D Laptop (3rd Gen Ci7/ 8GB/ 1TB/ DOS/ 2GB Graph) - Asus: Flipkart.com. Do you think it will be a good choice or would you recommend any other?

If you're looking at certain games and want to know whether you can run them, just go and check on game-debate. They're usually very accurate with their 'Can You Run It'.

I know and I also know that this website show the results based on the computer you're using, not the one you're looking to buy.

Alienware is the best gaming laptop. People may have varied opinions, but i have used a M17X and now i use a M14X R2 and it is absolutely stunning. Though Asus on paper may read better specifications, Alienware kicks hard on any other laptop's arse!

His budget is pretty low to afford alienware though.

Yeah, i did see that. Minimum would be atleast 85-90K to buy an Alienware. I just told my opinion in case he had the option to increase his budget.

I just have 1 GB Graphic card but i can play almost any game with full resolution. GTA 4, Dead Space 3, Saints Row 4, Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition, Far Cry latest one tested.

That asus lappy seems to be the best option but as it has no OS installed, you need to invest 8-10k more on it, i.e Windows 8. And thus I think you should target on laptops in range of 55k with OS pre-installed.

If you are in IT, go for a Linux

I am currently using this, and all the games work wonderfully on it. Just look around a bit, you may find a cheaper deal for it.

Edit: You'll take time to get on with the touchpad, though.
