Not sure about top but i won't be suprised if there will be a few more upsets when you travel overseas. This seems to mean a lot to the Windies fans. See the chick crying. So for the English fans would you have rather have sent a specialist twenty20 side?

yes it do mean alot to West Indies fan.
because seeing our team crash all the time.
and to crash another like that.
Bring tears to our eyes.
wishing we can be untop again one day, as i say bring back the old memories of the Great olden Days. only and only if it can happen again.

Bet Napier was having a right laugh at home watching this.

The impression I get from the commentary is that the Superstars bowled full and straight while England bowled short and wide. I don't know that England needed a specialist team with the quality of players they have, but the Superstars seemed to know a thing or two more about T20.

daaaaaaaamn what ownage by the superstars. Great display from them, dominated in their last 2 matches and Jerome Taylor was constantly amongst the wicket takers.

Inspirational batting performances from Bell, Collingwood and Shah. :clap
My theory furthermore proved that England are a one-man team.
No Pietersen = No England.
I can't believe someone of the Englishmen are so narrowminded to think that Shah is a better batsman then the likes of Hodge, Dave Hussey and Watson.

Great bowling by Stuart Broad aswell.
Noway is he better then Pete Siddle or Mitchell Johnson.

I bet Mitchell Johnson constantly dismisses Owais Shah the next time Australia and England have an International series. (lol)

20 bucks says the whole thing was rigged, and England get money under the table for losing. Stanford promotes cricket in the West Indies, England get money and exposure, everyone wins.

lol i would believe that but the look on the English player's faces. No one can fake such a gutted look.

Yesterday, when I saw on the scorecard that England were all out for 99 runs I already knew who would be the winner. But I didn't expect that they would be humiliated like this. The Superstars didn't even give a way wicket.

A couple of these new made millionare guys can enjoy now of the money.

This is the last line of the cricinfo commentary I've read back:

'Meanwhile in the England dressing-room, something looking suspiciously like runners-up medals are being handed out of a plastic bag!'

Nah, this game's result doesn't matter. The money did, and it goes to the superstars so well done to them.

Glad this sham is over. May it never happen again.

Didn't watch it, had no inclination to watch it. Well done to the Superstars, WI players need the money more than our spoilt "sportsman".

Can we get on with proper cricket now?

They're hardly spoilt. Pietersen, Flintoff and Collingwood possibly, but guys like Patel, Swann and Wright aren't anywhere near spoilt. They earn the same in a year as most Premier League footballers do in a week. Stanford deserved the win though, they've worked very hard, with the 6 week training camp whereas England have just waltzed up and expected to go home $20million richer. Doesn't work like that. Glad the young Windies batsmen got the financial boost, Fletcher looks a real talent, if he can work hard he could be the next big star of West Indies Cricket I reckon.

Also, Ben, shut up. I gave you countless examples of where Pietersen has failed but England have won, and you just ignored them. I've posted by views on Shane Watson in a blog, if you want to take that discussion further, do it on my blog, i'm not willing to discuss it any further on here. Also, Mitchell Johnson's not good enough to take anyones wickets consistently, all his wickets come via fluke remember ;)

Yeh, you're right about Broad, he got spanked in 1 match, he's useless. Broad's proven far more in his short international career than Siddle has, and you know my feelings on Johnson, he's awful. Only gets wickets through raw pace, he's got no control, is unable to bowl to set fields, gets lucky wickets from wide balls, he's awful. Broad's far better technically. Australia should get Shaun Tait in, if they want someone really rapid at least go for the best Rapid bowler in Australia, even he's got better control than Johnson.
