Field placing has definitely been worked on. It was however one of the fixes that was harder to implement. In fact the last set of field presets was only added minutes before the release. The testers as well as BA have worked constantly testing and fixing the field placings. They are by no means perfect yet and as a result of all the fixes, the field gets changed too often but expect that to change in the next few days. BA are on it.

All this excitement brings me back to 2001 when I used to stay up late with my cousin and try to match classic partnerships with my cousin as young 14 year old in BLC 99. Thanks honestly to @BigAntStudios and the beta team for making that happen for other younglings. Nice to see so much passion for cricket.

Not sure may need to talk to an expert... I'm just a mere consumer but I think someone did say the fielding has been tightened up a bit.
