Overall happy with the squad, no Bavuma and VD Dussen. Going to be interesting to see who opens the batting with QDK not finding form during the IPL.

I guess other players he might be considered alongside have additional strings to their bow (keeping/medium pace) or act as like-for-like replacements for other players. Although I'd have picked him. The bowling looks like it might depend a lot on Bumrah and Kuldeep.

I keep being mad at Indian cricket. Some squad members yet alone making Hardik captain makes no sense and I definitely get the smell of political interference here with Jay Shah, BJP and Ambani's.

Rinku should have been in the squad. Since we are not picking squad based on IPL form, Rinku's mediocre season can be thrown out of equation but that chap has 400 runs in 11 innings with 7 not outs for India. Playing at 180 sr and has 20 sixes. When we lose and I am sure we will, selectors, captain and management needs to be fired. Oh atleast I should be glad KL dint make the cut right?
