I dont think the Bonus for the Man of the Series has been given.
I checked the reports,there is no mention of it anywhere by the scorer.

I've given it. Check the scorecard: Afridi has five more extra catches. And it's something which was decided in the past. Nevertheless I checked what kind of effect it would have on the top 3 in this competition and the 'ICC World Twenty20 2007/08 Semis & Final' competition. In the last competition the top 3 didn't change (also the positions didn't change). In this competition the top 3 didn't change also, but the positions among the top 3 only changed.

So basically the inclusion of Man of the Series didn't have an effect on the top 3 of both competitions. Only difference is that the winners have a bit more vCash.
